Suzie spent heaps of time helping me choose the fabrics, as I wanted colour and pattern, and went back and forth with a few fabrics before making my final choices. Once decisions were made the process was quite fast, with a visit to test firmness and fit, and ongoing communication through the process. The owner of a mid-century modern home in the Adelaide Hills hired me to provide interior design services. As the house was being entirely renovated, the owner wanted new furniture and for some favourite pieces to be reupholstered. I knew Reality Furniture made a mid-century/Scandi-inspired 4-seater leather 'Rock Star' sofa - perfect for an enormous Grand Living room with stunning feature fireplace. I took my client to Reality Furniture to show her the sofa and look at fabrics for reupholstering her other vintage furniture - 3 occasional chairs. Not only did she LOVE the 'Rock Star' sofa but she could choose the leather, the feet, the height, and the width that most suited her. A bespoke piece. She also chose several plush co-ordinating fabrics for her chairs. While we were there, I spied some very over-sized floor cushions that another of my clients had ordered for his three children to lounge on. They looked amazing. My client saw them and immediately ordered two in washable fabrics for her dogs to have inside. The end result is an exceedingly happy client who ADORES her 'Rock Star' sofa and is very happy with her reupholstered pieces. Suzy and Dino were extremely attentive to the needs of my client, were communicative, professional, and worked within the agreed timeframes.
